About the event
The 7 th grade will be going on a field trip to learn about the function and process of the Federal Judiciary system by visiting the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. United States Federal Courthouse on May 26, and witnessing proceedings and actual sentencings.The bus will depart promptly at 7:50 AM to allow time for traffic, security screening, and seating in the courtroom by 9:00 AM.
Please be here early for bathroom breaks.
SNACK/LUNCH: After visiting the courthouse, the students will be coming back to school to eat lunch. However, their lunch will not be at their regular time, so please make sure they have eaten a good breakfast. They will be permitted to have a quick and non messy snack on the bus on the way to the courthouse.
PAYMENT: The cost of transportation is $11 per student.
