As is our tradition at SJNCS, our 8th Grade class will be going on their annual Spanish class field trip to Vizcaya on Monday, May. 5th, 2025. This field trip is designed to engage in learning through the arts, Spanish & European history, and the environment.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and lunch at Sergios’ Restaurant
As is our tradition at SJNCS, our 8th Grade class will be going on their annual Spanish class field trip to Vizcaya on Monday, May 5th, 2025.
This field trip is designed to engage in learning through the arts, Spanish & European history, and the environment.
The tour begins with the Gardens tour and then continues with the Main House tour. Students will be exposed to much of Vizcaya’s design and collections that represent previous eras in European art history, such as Classical, Italian Renaissance, Rococo, and Neo-Classical. They will also understand how the design of Vizcaya is based on European classical traditions as well as American ideas and Miami influences.
After Vizcaya, we will have lunch at Sergio’s Restaurant in Kendall.
